CommSys Completes Install of ConnectCIC™ Ohio LEADS Converter for Stow P.D. – CommSys’s LEADS Converter module, part of the ConnectCIC™ family of state interface software, was successfully installed at the Stow (Ohio) Police Department. Stow P.D. current CAD system is AS/400 based and was unable without significant changes utilize the next generation LEADS II server to server communications protocol. CommSys’s LEADS converter module allows the AS/400 to continue to use the older two socket protocol to communicate, while the converter uses the newer single socket solution.

 

Larimore Associates announces a partnership with CommSys – Larimore to offer basic inquiry integration in all 50 states and various regional CJIS / NCIC message switches to the Larimore Computer Assisted Dispatch system.

 

CommSys Completes testing of next generation Wisconsin interface eTIME – In December, CommSys working with its partner Positron Public Safety, the end user Bayside Police Department and the State of Wisconsin - Criminal Information Bureau, successfully completed testing of the ConnectCIC’s interface to the next generation State of Wisconsin eTIME CJIS system. The eTIME system is the first CJIS environment to utilize Internet SOAP XML transaction for the exchange of state and national criminal justice information.  Information on the Wisconsin eTIME project can be found at WI CIB Website.

 

End2End Public Safety Solutions announces a coalition with CommSys -- End2End plans to offer an integrated CJIS/NCIC inquiry solution for their customers through the United States.                                        

 

CommSys has a Certified and Released CJIS/NCIC Solution, ConnectCIC CLIPS, for full Iowa Message Switch Access -- Since, May 2005, CommSys has been providing a browser-based software solution for complete access to full access to the upgraded IOWA message switch.
